A note from the founders.
Target Student does what it says on the tin, we target students. Since our humble beginnings in 2015, we were two university students in Bristol both with a passion for events. After both diving into the industry both as a DJ hobbyist and an organiser, it soon became clear that there was a need for someone to manage the delivery of all of the promotional material for these events.
After carrying many heavy boxes on countless buses all over Bristol, our journey had begun. As our list of clients grew in the events world, we started to attract interest from larger brands to deliver national campaigns. So, we combined our connections on the student level and delivered hundreds of physical marketing campaigns through our network of over 70 reliable student reps across 15 universities in 11 major UK cities, targeting over 30,000 students.
Like many other businesses, we were gearing up for a record-breaking year in 2019, but the global pandemic had other ideas. Although these unprecedented times were a colossal challenge for the country, we saw it has an opportunity to diversify what we do and offer our clients something new. In short, Target Student has gone digital.
After successful trials in Bristol and Essex, we now planning how to grow our reach and create partnerships with new student accommodation sites to transform how they interact with their residents through digital signage, especially during a time when up-to-date public information is so important.
